TRC‑20 vs ERC‑20 vs BEP‑20 vs SPL
TRC-20 (Tron). The most used USDT network for transfers and exchanges. Fees are paid in TRX through energy and bandwidth, and are low once an account has some TRX.
ERC-20 (Ethereum). The original and most widely supported USDT. Gas is paid in ETH and is the most expensive of the major networks when Ethereum is busy.
BEP-20 (BNB Chain). An EVM network with low fees paid in BNB. Popular with exchange users; addresses look the same as Ethereum ones, so pick the network carefully.
